For many of us, fall and winter holidays and celebrations are a time to connect with others and enjoy annual traditions. Some of those traditions may look different this year as we all continue to keep everyone safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. KCHD offers the following guidance and recommendations.

Whether you plan on trick-or-treating, visiting a pumpkin patch or celebrating Halloween at a friend’s house, it’s important to continue to practice the Five Core Actions:

  • Wear a mask
  • Maintain at least six feet of distance from others not in your household
  • Wash hands regularly
  • Disinfect surfaces frequently
  • Stay home if you are sick or have been exposed to COVID-19.
